Many know him was one who led a life of poverty.  Others see him as one who brought renewal to the church.  Some even thought that he had the ability to communicate with animals.  So, who was St. Francis of Assisi, why did he live a life of poverty, and what impact did he have on the church and community at his time?  We had a conversation with Dr. Steven Watts about these questions and more.  We hope you enjoy the conversation!
